Must-have

  • Current MA Certification from AMT, NCCT, AAMA, NAHP, or NHA
  • AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification
  • Knowledge of ICD-10, CM/CPT/HCPCS coding conventions
  • Working knowledge of medical practice management information systems
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet HIPAA requirements

Nice-to-have

  • Two years of Medical Assisting experience
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • Champion of Lean principles and continuous improvement
  • Experience in cardiology or pulmonology specialties

Key Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • One year experience required for NHA certified candidates via work experience path
  • Must be able to travel to various worksites within Central Oregon
