As an SCP you will work as a member of the surgical team and perform surgical interventions and pre-operative and post-operative care under the supervision of a senior surgeon (RCSE).
You will work collaboratively with cardiac consultant surgeons, essential skills required are Endoscopic including radial vein harvesting, vein harvesting and Surgical assistance when required in cardiac procedures.

Key Requirements
RN 1st level registration – NMC registration
ODP Level 3 NVQ or Diploma in Perioperative Practice – HPC registration
RCS Basic Surgical Skills Course
SCP training completed
ENB 176/183/182 or equivalent
Teaching/assessing qualification – ENB 998 or equivalent
