Job Summary

  • As a Graduate Maritime Structural Engineer, the primary focus of your role will be the delivery of technical projects relating to the structural design of submarine propulsors.
  • Your responsibilities will include using numerical tools (FEA, Matlab, Python) to look into aspects of the structural design of submarine propulsors to enable the current UK fleet to operate and improve the tools and design for future platforms.

Key Requirements

  • BEng / MEng in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering or Structural Engineering
  • Demonstrable experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
  • Experience in working with and testing composite materials
  • Eligible for SC clearance
