Job Summary

  • The primary objective of the Assistant Manager, Product Safety Team is to manage Samsung Electronics America (SEA) Customer Care Product Liability management activities, including risk management, claims management, attending On-site Scene & Lab examinations to identify potential causes of product issue and will be responsible for communicating and executing high-priority tasks to support top management.
  • Manage high-level PL claims, including but not limited to claim follow-up (system/email update), attending Scene/Lab examinations with the expectation that they will prepare and present their findings to upper management.

  • Minimum 2+ years related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Technical education or product engineering
  • Troubleshooting experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong understanding of Home Appliance and Display products
  • Ability to travel within US & overseas
  • CFEI or CFII certification preferable
  • Claim Adjuster license preferable
  • Bilingual English and Korean preferred
