Job Summary

  • Performs intermediate level tasks that ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients, visitors and staff as well as ensuring safe and uninterrupted operations of mechanical and utility systems and equipment.
  • Diagnose/repair/replace HVAC fixtures including, but not limited to: commercial AHs, chillers (250 tons and above), commercial boilers and exchangers, ductwork, gauges, thermostats, circulating pumps, fan motors and belts, blades, actuators, piping, switches, and water lines.
  • May work in hot, cold, dusty, or dirty environments for an extended period of time; may work in cramped spaces.
