Job Summary

  • Assists the Food Service Supervisors in meeting patient needs in the areas of infant formula preparation, diet office, tray line, and department clerical needs.
  • Under the direction of the Clinical Dietitian, provides nutrition education and simple diet instructions as assigned.
  • Assists the Food Service Supervisor in food production area with patient trayline, snacks, and parent meals, as well as assistance with modified diets.

Key Requirements

  • Associate degree for Dietetic Technician or pursuing Bachelor's
  • College-level nutrition and diet therapy courses
  • High school diploma / GED required
  • 1 year food service or nutrition-related experience
  • Registered Dietetic Technician by CDR preferred
