Job Summary

  • This role will ensure that the assigned real estate portfolio is managed and maintained safely and in an environmentally responsible manner, while optimizing operational efficiency to the highest standard.
  • Perform assigned preventive maintenance duties and carry out unscheduled repairs of HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and life safety systems.
  • Respond quickly and efficiently to all tenant and property management requests, including emergency calls.

Key Requirements

  • 2-5 years of commercial building operations experience
  • Diploma or Certificate in Building Systems, HVAC, Building Environmental Systems (BES I/II), or related technical field
  • Knowledge of building mechanical/electrical equipment, building automation, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems
  • Willing to work overtime and on-call schedule
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures (WHMIS, Lockout & Tag out, fall protection and mold)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Access, DDC Systems
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
