Leidos UK is seeking an Engineering Technician to join their NISC program, working on the FAA's mission-critical NEXCOM initiative, which focuses on modernizing air traffic communication infrastructure. The role involves fabrication, logistics support, and ensuring reliable voice communications at various FAA facilities

Job Summary

  • Provide fabrication and logistics support that directly enables reliable voice communications at Air Traffic Control Centers, radar installations, TRACONs, and other FAA facilities.
  • Operate standard metal shop equipment such as, but not limited to, welding equipment, manual and hydraulic shears and punches, manual breaks, drill press, hand tools, powder coating equipment and paint spray equipment.
  • Contractor shall provide instruction to others regarding proper testing techniques and procedures.
