Job Summary
This position offers an exciting opportunity to participate in a division that is structured on the principles of patient care through a comprehensive, integrated small-group practice with predoctoral and dental hygiene students, and an interdisciplinary model of health care delivery within a nationally ranked college of dentistry.
The responsibility for this position will be an equal amount of scholarly engagement and teaching; directing and supporting didactic and clinical courses in any of the division’s three academic programs; and regularly serving as thesis advisor for master’s students.
The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a desire to create an environment that promotes collegiality, collaboration, and cultural diversity among members of various education, research, and service communities.

Dental hygiene program accreditation
Graduate degree in dental hygiene
Minimum three years clinical practice
Didactic and/or clinical teaching experience
State of Ohio dental hygiene license eligibility

Nitrous oxide sedation administration
Local anesthesia administration
Expanded functions dental auxiliary practice
Thesis-based master's degree
PhD or equivalent degree
