Medtronic UK is seeking a Principal Software Cloud Engineer to lead the development of cloud-native, microservice-based systems within their Cardiac Rhythm Management division. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in software engineering, particularly in cloud environments, and will work onsite to foster collaboration and innovation

Key Requirements

  • B.S./B.A. in Computer Engineering/Science or technically related
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
  • Master's degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
  • PhD with 3 years relevant experience
  • 4+ years of experience in a public or private cloud environment
  • 4+ years of experience developing applications leveraging Kubernetes
  • 4+ years of experience with CI/CD/CT pipelines and source code control
  • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
  • Ability to work with a globally distributed team
