  • The Apprentice Technician is responsible for increasing knowledge, skills, and certifications to progress to a Service Technician.
  • Employment may be counted toward a student's work-based learning requirement (refer to school for additional information).

Key Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic knowledge of automotive parts and systems
  • Demonstrable mechanical skills and knowledge
  • Technical training or commensurate technical experience
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Eligible for NAPA training, manufacturer training, state inspection/emissions training
  • Basic Computer skills
  • Ability to learn parts department computer inventory and ordering system
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Must be able to lift up to (50) pounds
