** Parsons Corporation is seeking a Geotechnical/Civil Engineer to join their remote team, focusing on various geotechnical and geo-environmental projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering, preferably with experience in remedial design and construction, and will be expected to contribute to project design, investigation, and collaboration within teams. **

Job Summary

  • Perform a variety of geotechnical / civil engineering tasks to complete designs for hazardous and solid waste projects including barrier walls (slurry techniques, sheet piles), landfills, excavations, and solidification projects.
  • Work effectively and collaboratively with project team and obtain the necessary management skills to grow into a Task Manager / Project Manager / Technical Lead position.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering
  • Master’s degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering is preferred
  • 3+ years of related work experience in remedial design and construction is preferred
  • Familiarity with CAD is preferred
  • Familiarity with geotechnical software packages is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software
  • Demonstrated proficiency in written and oral communication skills
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) Certificate is preferred
