Job Summary

  • Assists the Dean in planning course offerings and schedules, maintaining Advisory Committee, and recruiting, orienting, training, and retaining qualified faculty.
  • Responsible for maintaining program Board of Nursing approvals and accreditation standards, coordinating textbook orders, and organizing senior recognition ceremonies.
  • Teaches at least 12 credits per academic year and assists the Dean with website updates, curriculum plans, program brochures, and handbook updates.

Key Requirements

  • Graduate degree from accredited institution
  • Master’s degree in nursing required
  • Doctoral degree preferred
  • Unrestricted Arkansas RN licensure
  • 5+ years academic, clinical, or administrative nursing experience
  • Experience in nursing management preferred
  • Certified Nurse Educator certification or willingness to obtain
