Job Summary

  • The Meteorologist forecasts weather conditions, produces, and anchors weather reports for all platforms in a manner that is clear, engaging and meaningful to news consumers.
  • Primary responsibilities include preparing and presenting weather forecasts on weekend morning newscasts; 3 days midweek weather, climate, science, and occasional general assignment reporting, and fill-in weather anchoring as needed.
  • The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience, along with a minimum of five years’ experience in weather reporting or anchoring.
