• The Civic Technology Lead (Operations Manager II) serves as the principal technical architect and hands-on engineer within OPI, responsible for designing, building, and optimizing digital systems that advance city operations and service delivery.
• This position leads efforts to automate processes, integrate citywide systems, and apply emerging technologies (such as AI and mobile applications) to drive innovation and efficiency.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, engineering, information technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• At least seven (7) years of experience in cloud engineering, data engineering, or digital transformation
• Experience designing and implementing process automation and integrated system architectures
• Master’s degree in a technical field, certifications in Azure or related platforms, and experience with tools such as Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines
