Job Summary
The purpose of this class is to supervise assigned attorneys; reviews, files and disposes of criminal cases in the Justice of the Peace and County Courts; and performs other complex legal functions.
Supervises, directs, and evaluates assigned staff, processing employee concerns and problems, directing work, counseling, disciplining, and completing employee performance appraisals.
Represents the State in criminal jury trials, pretrial hearings, JP appeals matters, and status conferences.
