Job Summary

  • The Data Centre Engineer will be responsible for providing technical assistance and overall support to our customers providing 24/7 cover through a 12 hour shift pattern.
  • Each Data Centre Engineer is also responsible for managing and implementing installations as required, including shelves, power strips, rails, cable management and customer IT equipment.
  • The Data Centre Engineer will also share responsibility for upholding the standards of tidiness, cleanliness, security, asset information and installation standards within the computer suites.

  • Cabling experience and knowledge

  • Good written and verbal communication skills (English)
  • Good working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Excellent team skills
  • ITIL Accreditation
  • Experience of HP Service Manager 9 & Service Now
  • Must hold a valid UK driving licence
