Job Summary

  • The Field Service/Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly skilled mechanical, electrical, electronic, and instrumentation work in the installation, commissioning, repair, and maintenance of plant equipment.
  • This position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $40 to $45 per hour along with paid vacation, holidays, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and a 401K program.
  • Employees will work a 10-hour per day, 4-day per week schedule with up to 50% travel required to support maintenance activities across plants in the eastern region.

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • PLC programming and troubleshooting experience
  • VFD motor controls and process control equipment
  • Natural gas or LFG fueled engine maintenance
  • Reading and interpreting P&ID and GA drawings
  • LOTO safety procedures and lockout/tagout
  • Hand tools and shop equipment operation

Nice-to-have

  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience with industrial gas processing equipment
  • Technical certification in relevant trade
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with Allen Bradley and GE systems

Key Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Three years of related mechanical work experience
  • 1-3 years PLC programming experience preferred
  • 1-3 years VFD and process control experience
  • 1-3 years natural gas/LFG engine experience
