Job Summary
The Psychiatric Counselor is responsible for conducting Psychosocial Assessments for patients 14 and up.
This individual will provide individual, family and group therapy, coordinate Treatment Team/Planning for individual patients, and will be expected to coordinate and facilitate discharge planning for the patients by collaborating with families, support systems and referral sources.
Provide back-up coverage for ED psychiatric screeners and assist Psychiatric ED with Discharge/Transfer plans when needed.

Key Requirements

Prior experience with Behavioral Health/Substance Abuse patients
