Sesame Place is seeking an Assistant Supervisor for Merchandise in Tampa, Florida, to oversee various in-park merchandise operations while ensuring excellent guest service. Job Summary

  • Oversee one of our in-park Merchandise business units (Retail, Photos, Events, Vending) while inspiring and guiding a team of frontline ambassadors.
  • Ensure Ambassadors are engaging guests and making a positive impact to service scores (GSAT), with financial responsibility over assigned locations including revenue and labor management.
  • Train, coach, and provide regular performance feedback to all direct reports, while monitoring facility integrity and maintaining attractive displays.

  • At least 18 years old
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office products

  • Ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods
  • Ability to kneel, squat, bend, reach, climb, and walk
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Ability to perform cleaning duties and use cleaning chemicals
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
