  • Acts as an active member of the patient care team to provide clinical patient care assessment, initiation, modification, and discontinuance of therapeutic respiratory care procedures to critically ill patients.
  • Analyzes and evaluates clinical patient data to determine the appropriate therapy or interventions and makes recommendations on patient care plans to the medical staff.
  • Participates in education of students, physicians, staff, and patients/families and clinically supervises respiratory therapy students in the patient areas.
