Job Summary
The mission of North Carolina Emergency Management is to enhance North Carolina's resiliency through active collaboration, communication, and coordination of efficient and effective preparedness, response, recovery and mitigation of all natural and man-made hazards and threats.
This position will require regional coordination of governmental and nongovernmental organizations and other subject matter professionals responsible for the delivery of emergency preparedness, sheltering, mass feeding, mental health, agricultural, and animal welfare services alleviating suffering and hardship caused by disaster.
This position qualifies for teleworking on a part-time basis as part of the State Telework Program and offers State Benefits, including paid vacation, paid sick leave, paid holidays, retirement, and health insurance.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
