This position will assist the faculty/program leader for a Penn State Education Abroad program and will serve as an official representative of Penn State for the duration of the education abroad program

Job Summary

  • This position will assist the faculty/program leader for a Penn State Education Abroad program and will serve as an official representative of Penn State for the duration of the education abroad program.
  • Duties include some or all of the following: recruiting Penn State students, accompanying students abroad, communicating with students, assisting in delivering pre-departure orientation and supporting the faculty leader ‘on site’ in managing student conduct and adhering to Penn State Risk Management policy and procedure.
  • The Penn State Program Assistant must attend workshops for training in risk management and budget management; optional training on topics such as student conduct will be available for program assistants.
