  • This role supports the design, administration, and continuous improvement of GM's U.S. life insurance and voluntary benefit programs.
  • The position requires acting as an escalation point for complex claims while ensuring strict adherence to ERISA, DOL, and state regulations.
  • Candidates will collaborate with senior leaders in HR, Labor Relations, Legal, and Finance to drive data-driven decisions on benefit competitiveness.

  • Life and AD&D benefit administration
  • ERISA compliance and claims appeals
  • Vendor and TPA performance management
  • Data analysis with Excel and Power BI

  • Experience with RFPs and vendor negotiations
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled documentation tools
  • Multi-state employer complex environment

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in employee benefits
  • Strong understanding of eligibility rules and plan documents
  • Advanced Excel and large dataset analysis skills
