Job Summary
Perform skilled installation, maintenance, and repair of all types of roofing, including asphalt, composition, slate, tile, and single-ply systems.
Check roof areas, roof drains and gutters to determine serviceability and repair needs; clean debris as required; locate and repair roof and related leaks.
Operate machinery such as forklifts, scissor-lifts, and high rangers, and transport tools, equipment, and personnel to various job sites.

Must-have
Skilled installation of roofing systems
Roof and gutter leak detection and repair
Operation of power and hand tools
Compliance with safety regulations (WISHA, OSHA)
Experience with aerial platform lift operation
Nice-to-have
Commercial and/or industrial roofing experience
Collaboration with other UW Facilities shops
Customer service excellence
Key Requirements
Completion of recognized apprenticeship or full journey status
Four years applicable work experience
Valid motor vehicle operator’s license may be required
