Job Summary
The Registered Dietitian (RD) is responsible for providing resident nutrition/hydration care and documenting nutrition/hydration care in compliance with regulatory standards and Extendicare's policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities include assessing nutrition status, determining risk levels, developing and modifying nutrition plans of care, and providing nutrition/dietary counseling.

Key Requirements
University degree in Food and Nutrition
1-2 years experience in gerontology/long term care
Current registration with College of Dietitians of Ontario
Knowledge of Provincial Food Premises Regulation
Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, Point Click Care)
