Job Summary

  • The Director is responsible for developing leading analytical research and ratings, meeting with issuers and investors on analytical matters, coaching and mentoring junior team members, resolving client needs, and taking a lead role in external meetings and communications related to rated debt issuers.
  • Lead and complete the end-to-end ratings process for new issue and surveillance transactions, ensuring effective time management and prioritization of competing demands.

Key Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Structured Finance Ratings experience
  • Experience with Esoteric ABS or novel asset classes
  • Legal ratings experience
  • Bachelor’s in business, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • Proficiency with Excel, financial models, and financial data
  • Ability to analyze and solve non-routine problems
  • Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines
  • Ability to demonstrate analytical independence and objectivity
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Master's degree or CFA designation (preferred)
  • Experience with cash flow modeling (preferred)
  • Experience with financial market analysis (preferred)
