Job Summary
This role leads the Lab Equipment & Systems function in Belgium to drive reliable and future-ready laboratory operations for medicines and vaccines.
The successful candidate will own the full lifecycle of laboratory equipment from acquisition to decommissioning while managing medium and small capital projects.
You will build and coach a multidisciplinary team of 9 direct reports to deliver high-quality, safe, and efficient lab support in a collaborative matrixed environment.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
8 years experience managing lab equipment
Equipment qualification and validation expertise
Capital project delivery and budget management
Vendor oversight and contract management
Data integrity principles for digital tools
Fluency in English and French languages
Nice-to-have
Experience in pharmaceutical or vaccine environments
Knowledge of GxP compliance and inspection readiness
Familiarity with LIMS and LES systems
Leadership experience with external service providers
Master's degree in Engineering or Biotechnology
Key Requirements
Bachelor degree in Engineering or Life Sciences
Minimum 8 years experience in regulated environment
