The role of Product Controller is responsible for P&L production/reconciliation and balance sheet substantiation, and/or process ownership within an asset class, and/or involvement in broader Product Control initiatives.
Key responsibilities include posting accurate and timely information to the General Ledger, substantiating the trading balance sheet, ensuring alignment to regulatory reports, and overseeing the control environment.
The role requires understanding and providing commentary on the P&L, ensuring reporting is accurate and timely, and continuously considering risk mitigation and operational effectiveness.
