Bakersfield Post Acute is hiring full-time Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) for all shifts to provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing assistants. The role requires a current LVN license in California, experience in skilled nursing facilities preferred, and strong leadership and communication skills

Job Summary

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
  • Ensure care is delivered in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, facility policies, and direction from the Director of Nursing or Nurse Supervisor.
  • Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician and monitor resident conditions, notifying physicians and families of changes.
