Job Summary
The Cash Posting Representative ensures that all aspects of processing and applying payments received from patients and commercial insurance is completed in an accurate and timely manner while maintaining quality and production standards set for the position.
Primary responsibilities include reviewing insurance Explanation of Benefits (EOB) to payments received against claims, posting disallowances, adjustments, or write-offs, and researching unapplied payments.
Secondary responsibilities involve demonstrating understanding of company processes, assisting with workflow improvements, and maintaining a culture of accountability.

Key Requirements
Six months to one year of experience in data entry or accounting
Ability to enter data accurately using a 10-key pad
Associate degree in bookkeeping preferred
Prior training or knowledge of medical terminology required
One year of medical claims cash posting or medical collections preferred
