  • Specializes in the promotion of optimum cardiopulmonary function and health, applying scientific principles to prevent, identify, and treat acute or chronic dysfunction of the cardiopulmonary system.
  • Develops and implements effective care plans, patient-driven protocols, disease-based clinical pathways, and disease management programs according to evidence-based clinical practice guidelines.
  • Embraces the interdisciplinary care model, stays aware of changes, participates in data collection or auditing, and understands Quality Improvement.
