Job Summary

  • Investigate the molecular mechanism(s) of how AD-associated cellular proteins in the ER and mitochondria regulate mitochondrial function and the biosynthesis of the amyloid beta from APP.
  • The project will include confocal microscopy, immunocytochemistry, protein biochemistry, cellular/molecular biology, and 2- or 3-dimensional cell culture, and mouse models.
  • Responsible for maintaining laboratory equipment, organizing and preparing samples, conducting experiments, and recording and analyzing data.
