Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Completed electrical apprenticeship
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification
  • City & Guilds Electrical Installation Parts One and Two
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and P&ID drawings
  • Experience with relay logic and PLC fault finding

Nice-to-have

  • Initial and Periodic Electrical Inspection & Testing BS2391 EX 01-04 trained
  • Experience with robotic and automation systems
  • Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Valid MEWP licence
  • Proven experience in COMAH site environments

Key Requirements

  • BTEC ONC/HNC, C&G Qualifications Parts 1 & 2, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • City & Guilds IEE Wiring Regulations 18th edition (BS7671)
  • Must have completed a recognised Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification
