The MRP Lead is responsible for ensuring availability of direct and consumables materials, while improving processes to balance service level, inventory, and cost of materials.
They convert the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and the Detailed Schedule (DS) outputs into material requirements, ensuring reliable material availability for production.
The Lead serves as an experienced team member, responsible for driving MRP process standardization and continuous improvement and will onboard new team members.
