Job Summary

  • Manages an annual budget for the area of responsibility, monitoring and controlling expenses on labour, materials, supplies, and equipment to meet established budget requirements.
  • Responsible for the asset management, stewardship, and procurement strategy for campus assets managed by Custodial Services, including maintenance plans, inspection plans, equipment condition reports, and liability reporting.
  • Manages Human Resources issues, in collaboration with HR, in the areas of recruitment, performance evaluation, training, coaching, attendance management, discipline, labour relations, and terminations.
