Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of the position is to serve as the second-in-command in the Division and to assist the Executive Director of the Commission with day-to-day operations including oversight and management of all programs, the development, review, and approval of grant proposals, grant reports, and general reports on program productivity, as well as oversight of financial management, and supervision of program management teams and their programs.
  • This is a key leadership position requiring excellent written and oral communication skills, with responsibilities including developing and conducting employee training, strategic planning, programming marketing, and community outreach to all state and federal tribes.
  • The North Carolina Department of Administration is seeking applicants for a Raleigh based Program Analyst II (Working Title: Deputy Director) for the Commission of Indian Affairs Division (CIA) to assist and help lead the Division operations in meeting its legislative mandate as an Advocacy Agency.
