The Nurse Practitioner (NP) will function as an independent healthcare provider working collaboratively with physicians and other members of a multidisciplinary health care team, to provide comprehensive care in a variety of settings.
Provides direct individualized patient care and treatment with responsibility for assessing, examining, diagnosing and analyzing the patient's current health condition and developing short and long-term goals and treatment plans.
Participates in quality/performance initiatives, research activities, education, the development of policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines as indicated while evaluating and implements the standards of care within the area of specialization.
