Key Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years related experience
  • NBIS Certified Bridge Safety Inspector (CBSI)
  • TxDOT precertification 6.1.1 Routine Bridge Inspection Team Leader
  • CBSI Team Leader
  • BSCE or related discipline preferred
  • EIT and plan to obtain Professional Engineer (PE) Registration preferred
  • Fracture Critical Inspection / Scour Evaluation training a plus
  • SPRAT certification a plus
  • Experience preparing reports for inspections
  • Familiarity with DOT Publications
  • Physical requirements like climbing embankments and manipulating ladders
  • Frequent overnight travel may be required
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license
