** OKX Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Deputy General Counsel for Regulatory matters in the APAC region. The ideal candidate will have extensive legal experience in both established and emerging markets, particularly within the cryptocurrency and financial sectors, and will be responsible for engaging with regulators and advising senior stakeholders. **

Job Summary

  • Take lead on matters with top management attention, providing counsel and legal support to senior stakeholders in the region and globally.
  • Advise on APAC regulatory matters, managing external stakeholders (government agencies, regulators, industry bodies, outside counsel, etc.) as and when necessary.
  • Partner with our Risk, Compliance and Licensing teams to monitor APAC regulatory developments, ensuring regional policies and playbooks are up to date, and update senior management on the same.
