The Role: What You’ll DoInspire, Don't Just Instruct: Teach secondary school Math and/or Science (General Science, Physics, Chemistry, and/or Biology) in a way that feels alive, relevant, and engaging. Build Massive Rapport: Be the teacher students actually look forward to seeing. You’ll create a safe, high-energy, and inclusive classroom culture. Simplify the Complex: Break down tricky concepts—from algebra and geometry to chemical reactions and ecosystems—into digestible, real-world examples. Foster Mindset Shift: Help students overcome "math anxiety" or science dread by building their confidence and celebrating their breakthroughs. Communicate with Impact: Keep parents and the team in the loop with constructive, encouraging, and clear updates on student progress. Who You Are (The Must-Haves)A Magnetic Personality: You walk into a room and the energy lifts. You are enthusiastic, empathetic, and naturally engaging. A True Mentor Mentality: You genuinely love working with teenagers. You understand their challenges, speak their language (metaphorically), and know how to motivate them. Strong Foundations: While you don't need a PhD, you must comfortably understand secondary-level math and science concepts well enough to teach them clearly. Adaptable & Coachable: You take feedback well, love to learn, and can pivot your teaching style to match how a specific student learns
