Job Summary

  • PATH seeks a Regional Infectious Disease Surveillance Advisor for AMEE for the STRIDES Project, which will support and strengthen surveillance, detection and analytical capacity of infectious diseases across human and animal health.
  • The advisor will oversee and provide technical leadership for day-to-day implementation of surveillance activities in AMEE, lead the development and implementation of surveillance activities, and provide technical oversight to country-based technical staff.
  • Responsibilities include providing expert input to national guidelines, advising governments on best practices in surveillance, serving as the regional lead for technical implementation, and ensuring timely production and dissemination of high-quality data.
