Job Summary
Responsible to serve as the Operating Authority for power plant operations during assigned shift to ensure the plant is capable of attaining maximum load and is operated as safely, efficiently, and reliably as possible.
Performs as advanced Control Room Operator, monitoring and operating controls in the centralized control room of the Power Plant to control the loading and operation of generating units and associated equipment, as needed.
Acts as subject matter expert and coaches and mentors less experienced members in their training and development.
