  • Performs tasks that ensure the uninterrupted operations of mechanical systems and equipment, including inspecting, testing, installing, fabricating, modifying, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all welded piping systems and equipment.
  • Responds to emergency situations, evaluates and corrects defects, assists other trades, adheres to safety practices, and maintains work areas and equipment.
  • Documents labor, materials, and work performed, submits purchase requests, creates estimates for small projects, and informs customers when tasks are completed.

Key Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Two years' experience in maintenance, pipefitting and/or welding trade
  • Efficient skills and knowledge in using pipefitting and welding tools
  • Basic understanding of plumbing code compliance
  • Knowledge of piping components
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Valid OSHA 10-hour General Industry Safety and Health card
