Skills & Requirements
Must-have
BSL-1 and BSL-2 laboratory experience
Biosafety program development and deployment
Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) support
Laboratory safety audit and gap analysis
Risk assessment and exposure control planning
Nice-to-have
BSL-3 program oversight or commissioning
Consulting experience with proposal development
ISO 45001 aligned management systems
Strong communication and influencing skills
Mentoring and team leadership capabilities
Key Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biosafety, Microbiology, Biology, Public Health, Industrial Hygiene, Safety Engineering, or related field
4+ years of relevant EHS experience with biosafety leadership in BSL-1 and BSL-2 environments
2+ years of consulting experience or equivalent client-facing scope
