Job Summary

  • Responds to service calls to evaluate, diagnose, and perform repair and planned maintenance on customers' basic biomedical equipment, driving customer satisfaction through service excellence.
  • Under supervision, evaluate basic customer biomedical equipment issues, implement appropriate repairs, and perform PM and safety/environmental inspections, potentially assisting more experienced technicians.
  • Enhance and maintain technical knowledge of current standards, codes, and procedures regarding safe and effective use of medical equipment through formal instruction and utilizing various resources.

Key Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • High School Diploma/GED and 2+ years of experience
  • Participant in GEHC Internship or Military Externship program
  • Equivalent military education
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. unassisted
