Job Summary

  • Performs duties under the direction or supervision of a licensed medical practitioner or a registered nurse, responsible for conducting a focused assessment of the patient to include vital signs and gathering data.
  • Accurately completes all required clinical documentation consistently per Riverside Medical Group standards, maintaining documentation for quality assurance and working with providers to assure care gaps are routinely addressed.
  • Provides patient follow up with a sense of urgency regarding lab calls, patient phone calls, prescription fills and refills, referrals and appointment scheduling, and answers telephone calls from patients, pharmacies, physicians, vendors, etc. by close of business.
