Shields Health Solutions is seeking a Specialty Pharmacy Liaison to provide support for specialty pharmacy patients, including assessing needs, coordinating drug deliveries, and addressing insurance challenges. The ideal candidate should be an experienced pharmacy technician with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient care

Job Summary

  • As the single point of contact for a specialty pharmacy patient, liaisons assess needs and provide support with every refill, coordinate drug delivery, address any new insurance and/or copay challenges, and monitor for adherence.
  • When issues arise, they work across the care continuum with other clinical and pharmacy team members including the clinical pharmacist, the prescriber, and the clinic staff to ensure concerns are resolved quickly.

Key Requirements

  • Registered pharmacy technician
  • 2-5 years experience as Pharmacy Technician
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Ability to learn new software quickly
  • Strong organizational/administrative skills
