Job Summary
The Figure Skating Instructor is responsible for assisting and/or running skating lessons for youth ages 3 and up as well as adults.
Instructors must demonstrate proper equipment use, techniques, and methods while enforcing safety rules and regulations at the Morgan Park Sports Center.
Candidates are required to become SafeSport compliant within three months of their start date and attend at least one continuing education seminar annually.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
3+ years previous coaching experience
5+ years competitive skating experience
Knowledge of U.S. Figure Skating Basic Skills program
Ability to organize large groups of skaters
USFS Freeskate 6 or equivalent certification
