Job Summary
The Director of Staff Development (DSD) is responsible to plan and implement facility orientation, job skills training, in-service education, and a Certification Training Program for nursing assistants.
The DSD also provides direct resident/patient care and works with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Administrator to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained.
Utilize information from surveys, evaluations, and recommendations to identify education needs and organize in-service education programs for all facility staff.
